Case study
Daily Plate

Daily Plate is a ready meal brand that feels like a home-cooked plate without the planning, chopping, or cleaning.
CHALLENGE AND GOALS
Daily Plate is a passion project I worked on between client projects to explore my creativity and push my storytelling a bit further. Storytelling is a big part of how I work, so I wanted to see how far I could take it here. It started with getting to the core of the brand. Daily Plate is a ready meal brand that feels like a proper home-cooked plate — something that’s already there, ready when you are. No hassle with prep, cooking, or cleaning. This specific idea guided every design decision.
THE OUTCOME
The outcome stays true to that core idea. A plate-shaped window gives you a clear view of the food, making it obvious it’s ready to eat straight away. The logo uses a soft, natural serif to reflect clean, simple ingredients, with a spoon worked into the ‘l’ like you’re about to take that first bite. The illustrations focus on key ingredients and flavour, adding a bit of warmth and personality. Altogether, it tells a clear story. The visuals and the idea work together to create something that feels fresh, simple, and ready when you are.
